Birthday

from the birthday dept

Another year has past in the life of yours truly. Another year, another page in the books. A lot of people take this time to reflect upon the events of the past year; myself, I'd rather not. That last year had come and gone faster than a fart in a fan factory. Regrets are what I remember the most. Another year wasted. Another slip on the slope into hedonism; a backward slide from the pursuit of real happiness.

Crocodile hunter dies.

from the land-down-under dept

Article. The Crocodile Hunet, Steve Irwin is dead. He died while doing a feature n stringrays. One of the stingrays's barbs apparently ended up impaling him in the chest, mortally wounding him. I don't really know him aside from the crazy character you see in Discovery channel, but somehow hearing of his death upset me.

Play Mario as Bullet Bill

from the mario dept

[website] Yep. Play Mario through the eyes of one of the most annoying characters in the game. Now you can play Mario as Bullet Bill, the annoying, constantly smirking, right-to-left flying, cannon fire. But in this game, you play Bill, Bill does not annoy you and Bill flies left-to-right. Bill can run through bricks like it's nothing, but Bill can't go through the, uh,... the structure that Mario steps on. Whatever. Sure it's a waste of time, but it's a must for the true Mario fan. (Hey, I played through one level. I did my time.)
